Of course given the nature of my occupation, it’s not too surprising that I was riveted by the whole experience. And while “easy” isn't exactly a word to describe any birth, I was lucky in that my labor was relatively short at eight hours long and I pushed for only 36 minutes.
It’s true that I couldn't really walk that day because I was still numb from the epidural and sex has only just now started to feel good again as my privacy has healed four months later.
But I definitely want another go at it.
For now, I’m very happy with the one I have and I’m amazed by how much I can still do for and give to her every day.
