3 avocados, peeled and pitted
1 tomato, chopped
1/4 red onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
a handful of cilantro leaves
Combine avocados, tomato, red onion, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeño in a medium bowl. Mix and mash together. A fork will do, but I like to use my "clomper." Slice the lime in half and squeeze the juice into the bowl. Add salt to taste and continue to mix and mash just until the guacamole is still a little chunky. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or crudité. Adding more lime juice and putting one of the avocado pits will help keep it fresh if you don't eat it all in one sitting.
